Ezana Vineyard & Winery is situated in the semi-arid and munificent hills of Tigray region, an area of Ethiopia that is famous for its breath-taking hills and mountains and for its ancient civilization. King Ezana, the 4th century ruler of Axum’s kingdom, controlled the whole of the Red Sea route from his base in Axum of Tigray. Our brand of high quality Ethiopian wine is proudly built on this tradition
Our Vineyard
Established in 2010, Ezana Vineyard & Winery is located in Quha, on the outskirts of Mekelle on 100 hectares of land, which is situated on 2,200 meters above sea level.
The semi arid agro ecologies of our farm give our wine its elegant taste. We do not use harmful fertilizers and pesticides which makes our grapes healthy and environmentally friendly.
